Mathematics can sometimes be difficult to learn online. Reading the text without access to a teacher in a classroom situation might sometimes create confusion. It is strongly recommended to attempt the assignments WELL IN ADVANCE of the deadline so that questions can be asked. Trigonometric functions, their basic properties and graphs, identities, inverse trigonometric functions, solving trigonometric equations, solutions of triangles. This course fulfills the UWC requirement for Mathematical Sciences (MS).
Prerequisites: (a) a grade of C or better in MAT 110 or (b) concurrent registration in MAT 110 or (c) placement based on placement test score.
