About Online Library Support

The UW Colleges Distance Education Library Support website is a gateway to library resources available to all UW-Systems students. From this site, students can:

• search the online catalog for books,

• request library materials using ILLiad, or

• fill out a reference request form.

To Access Online Library Support

• Access for students who have ONL as their home campus.

• UW Colleges campus students should contact the library on their home campus.

• Students from other campuses should contact the library on their home campus.

To Get Your Username & Password to Access Library Resources

Retrieve your username and password.

Student ID Card

If you wish to check out library materials from any University of Wisconsin System library you will need to obtain a UW Colleges Online Student ID Card. (If you have a valid ID for one of the UW Colleges campuses, you do not need and ID for online.) Follow these steps to obtain your student ID:

1. Acquire a self photo in digital format, and it must be in JPEG (.jpg) format.

2. Send your image as an e-mail attachment along with your full name, mailing address and social security number to DEcoordinator@uwc.edu.

3. Allow at least three weeks for processing of your ID.

4. This is a one time only process. Your ID will be good as long as you are enrolled in UWC Online.
