WISCareers Website

The WISCareers website is Wisconsin’s career exploration and planning website. The website is available to users at anytime from any internet-ready computer with users creating their own account. WISCareers provides users with comprehensive information on over 1,100 careers, links to more than 3,400 school/college websites and applications, provides information on more than 800 programs of study. Additionally, the site has extensive information on Wisconsin employers to facilitate job exploration, has direct links to job postings in America’s Job Bank and has job-seeking tools and resources. The site also contains a resume design program and cover letter writing option. WISCareers can also provide users with extensive Wisconsin and national labor market information.

To access the WISCareers, here’s how you get started:

• Go to http://wiscareers.wisc.edu and click on Get Started.
• Type in the registration code: coo-c639
• Create your personal username and password. We suggest using a username and password that you may already be using for other purposes (e.g. your PRISM username and password or your email username and password) so you are less likely to forget.
• Click Login.
• After your first login to WISCareers, you will only have to use your username and password to enter on subsequent visits.
