- Continued Education Plans:
- I am currently thinking of taking a break from school but when I am ready to go back, I intend on going to UW-Oshkosh.
- Future Career Plans:
- I would like to pursue a career in Cultural or Linguistic Anthropology with a focus on Japanese Language and Culture.
- UW Colleges Online Education Experience:
- This is my second semester taking online classes and I must say that it has been an awesome experience for me. I am usually a quiet person and I tend to not participate in class unless I was called upon but with the online courses I have found that I participate more than I ever had in an actual classroom.
I have more time to collect my thoughts which gives me more confidence to post my opinions and knowledge of the discussion. Last semester I got a GPA of 3.6, the highest I had ever achieved thru all my years of high school and college, it is very encouraging.
I am a stay at home mom and with only one vehicle (which my husband takes to work), it is hard for me to get to an actual classroom so when I found out about the online degree offered by UW Colleges, how could I resist?

- Continued Education Plans:
- Attend UW-Platteville Distance Learning Online in Spring 2006 to major in Business Administration.
- Future Career Plans:
- I plan on finishing my school career by the time my youngest child starts school. After he is in school I will be looking for a career in communications or possibly starting my own business.
- UW Colleges Online Education Experience:
- The online experience has been enjoyable. The classes have been challenging, but the tools that were given to us to complete these classes in an online setting were priceless.
I was working 40+ hours a week, going to night classes at the college and taking care of my little ones which proved to me that I was missing out on too much in my life and my children's lives. By having the ability to complete my degree online, I could stay home with my children and not have to hinder my son's rehabilitation progress.
It has been a great experience, in which, I hope my children will one day be able to appreciate the fine art of Online Education.

- Continued Education Plans:
- Attend online classes in Fall 06 or Spring 07 to major in Human Services Management or Early Childhood Education.
- Future Career Plans:
- I'm still unsure of what I will do once I have my Bachelor's degree.
- UW Colleges Online Education Experience:
- I have really enjoyed the online college experience. I wanted to be able to keep my schedule flexible and online courses are definitely the way to go.
I don't have to travel to a school everyday, I can work in my pjs if I want to, I can do homework and go to class day or night pretty much whenever is convenient for me. There is no strict schedule of when I have to be online. It is easier for me to study on my own then in a crowded classroom. I can put all the time I want into each subject till I understand it.
These courses have certainly helped me learn how to manage my time better.

- Continued Education Plans:
- Attend UW-Oshkosh in Spring 2006 to major in Education.
- Future Career Plans:
- I am planning on becoming a middle school teacher.
- UW Colleges Online Education Experience:
- I started taking the online courses because I needed to find a way to work full-time and still go to school. Going to school through UW Colleges Online has been a godsend. I don't know how I would have come this far if I had to take traditional classes.
I have loved the flexible, yet very structured environment. My only wish was that there was more variety in course options, but that was to be expected. The classes that I did take were very enjoyable.
