Taking classes online really worked well
for me. I work full-time, and having to attend classes after I already put in an eight-hour day just
wasn't for me. I found that the independence with study time and reading, along with the structure of
assigned due dates was really the best combination for me to continue my college education.

As a single mother to 4 school age children,
online classes allowed me to pursue my educational goals and still be active in the lives of my children.
I was able to attend their church activities, sporting events, and school programs because of the
flexibility that online classes offer. The many nights I was up late studying, right alongside them,
were very encouraging to them. I know the example I have set by completing my Associates Degree
will reap large dividends in the years to come as they pursue their education.

After getting a full-time radio job,
I quit school 10 years ago while only 4 classes away from completing my Associate's degree. To be
perfectly honest, the thought of jumping back into a classroom environment scared the daylights
out of me. But my wife convinced me to try the online class format and I haven't looked back!
It's been a lot of hard work balancing school, two jobs, and other family responsibilities,
but to finally complete my degree has made it all worth it!
