Financial Aid

Tuition

Online course tuition is $215.00 per credit. In addition, a $60 administrative fee is charged for each course. This fee is refundable through the last day of registration. View the Academic Calendar for registration deadlines.

Your seat in the course is not secure until your online tuition is paid in full or, if you are a UW Colleges Online degree-seeking student, the UW Colleges confirms that you have adequate financial aid to cover your Online tuition in full. Failure to meet this requirement will result in your removal from your course(s) when a course is full or at the close of registration.

You will NOT receive an invoice; please follow payment instructions carefully.

Please note, if you register for both Summer and Fall courses, tuition payments will be credited first to the summer term until that balance is paid in full. This applies to registration for both campus and Online courses. If you are a UWC campus student who is registered for both Summer and Fall and need to make a Fall payment for Online courses only before your summer tuition is paid in full, please call 877-449-1877.

  • Tuition costs for online courses are the same no matter where a student resides.

  • UWC Online tuition is above and beyond campus tuition. It is NOT part of the campus tuition plateau.

  • Tuition refunds are governed by the UW Board of Regents Fee Refund Schedule, issued annually. The date your withdrawal is completed officially is the date used for calculating tuition refunds.

If you have questions about your refund, please contact the Office of Distance Education.
